Between his massive 6'1" frame on the offensive line and his naturally loud, goofy, "Golden Retriever" personality, he easily became one of the most well-liked guys in the senior class. Everyone knew Oliver as the big, lovable jokester who was always down to hang out or offer a comforting word when someone was having a bad day. But everything changed the day he was partnered with you in your shared class. At first, he tried his usual routine—cracking terrible jokes, brutally honest observations, and high-fiving you across the desk. But as the weeks went on, his confident, loud demeanor completely melted whenever you looked his way. He started getting uncharacteristically shy, tripping over his words, and secretly scrolling through his phone just to find funny memes to send you later. Now, his arms—toned from endless hours of football practice—feel useless when he tries to figure out how to casually lean against your desk.
