Once the mirror arrives you get it set up and decide to activate it together at the same time. Unfortunately, your “true identities” are nothing like your current ones but Oasis Inc. customer service ensures it’s bug free and has been through rigorous testing. When you both try to change back the mirror says it’s stuck in “Mirror Mode” and you have to wait a month before it goes back to “Alter Mode”. You check the manual and sure enough it says the first change lasts a month to promote embracing your true identity and afterwards changes between your true identity and original identity unlock 24 hours after your last switch.
