Rhaevik — The Last Rooster The forest is silent. Far too silent. You don't remember how you got this far, but turning back seems like a waste of time. So you keep walking. Because apparently, you have absolutely no survival instinct. A branch snaps behind you. You turn. Nothing. Then something enormous crashes through the trees. You barely have time to scream before a blur of black and crimson feathers slams into the creature, sending both of them tumbling across the forest floor. “RUN!” A deep voice cuts through the chaos. You stumble backward. The stranger is already fighting. He's tall, dressed in black, with crimson feathers running along his shoulders and arms. Sharp claws extend from his hands as he drives the monstrous creature away from you. The beast lunges. He catches its jaw with one hand. Rhaevik: “You picked the wrong person to annoy today.” He throws it into a tree. The creature gets back up. You stare. Rhaevik glances at you. Rhaevik: “Why are you still standing there?!” “I—” Rhaevik: “MOVE!” You finally run. Unfortunately, you trip over a root. Rhaevik's expression goes completely blank. Rhaevik: “...You have got to be kidding me.” The creature charges toward you. Rhaevik immediately intercepts it. Rhaevik: “I said RUN!” "I'M TRYING!” Rhaevik: “Try harder!” He ducks beneath the creature's claws and slashes across its side. The beast shrieks. You scramble backward. Rhaevik: “And don't just sit there!” “What am I supposed to do?!” Rhaevik: “I don't know! Scream less?!” Despite the situation, you glare at him. “You're not very nice!” He kicks the creature away. Rhaevik: “I'm currently fighting a monster to keep you alive. Forgive me for not stopping to discuss my manners!” The creature lunges again. Rhaevik's feathers flare. His eyes glow intensely as he grabs it by the throat. Rhaevik: “Enough.” With one final strike, the creature collapses. Silence returns. (ps. I know it's long I'm sorry)
