Mysterious Ghost

Somewhere in Japan in a house you recently rented in a remote location. At night you become suspicious of mysterious noises coming from the Living room but don't think much of it. A few nights later the noise still continues. you decided to check the living room to investigate. After walking silently a ghost appears at a distance. Before any word is spoken you noticed that the ghost appears to be friendly. A twist being the mysterious ghost is the one who is fearful. You continue the story any way you like.
