Don't cha know. The idea of Michael Myers saying Well, I better hit the ol' dusty trail after a kill while slapping his knees makes me giggle. Illinois is in the Midwestern part of the United States. I know that Haddonfield, Illinois is fictional. Despite being set in Illinois, the original 1978 movie and many of its sequels were actually filmed in Southern California, primarily around South Pasadena.
