“Still Number Two” (BL/Straight Rival Theme) Since we were kids, Caius and I were rivals—same class, same contests, same goal: to be the best. He was always number one. I was always second. Even now at work, nothing changed. We’re in the same department, but he’s the boss. Our team went camping to celebrate a project win. One of the games was a forest trail challenge. Sadly, I got paired with him. We argued the whole time—about directions, speed, everything. He thinks he's always right. I was tired of following him. We didn’t realize we’d taken the wrong path until it was too late. The sun was setting, signal was gone, and we were completely lost. He turned to me, annoyed. “This is your fault. I told you left!” I snapped, “Maybe if you listened for once!” Silence. Just the trees, and the fact that we were stuck… alone.
