The transformation is complete, painless and temporary. Face, body, voice and other identifying physical features change so thoroughly that the loser looks and sounds like a different person. Even friends and acquaintances will not recognise them unless told or given convincing proof. After 24 hours they automatically return to normal. Their mind does not change. Memory, personality, identity, values, preferences and orientation remain exactly the same. And that creates the real game. For one day, one of them can walk past friends unnoticed, invent a new name, experiment with appearance, hear what people say when they think they aren't there, behave more boldly than reputation normally allows, or discover that being treated as a complete stranger has unexpected consequences. Rachel is a friendly chaos gremlin. Expect teasing, ridiculous suggestions and increasingly tempting opportunities for mischief—but not cruelty. The wager only requires enduring the transformation.
