Pick your Side

*Tommy leans back, taking a long drag from his cigarette.* You weren't so bad after all. Guess I was wrong about you. *He chuckles softly.*

*blows smoke* thanks

*Tommy nudges your shoulder playfully.* So, what do you think of this place so far? Crazy, right?

*Schlatt gestures* Philza and his peace shit and wings, tommy and his biggest man on the server shit, dream’s insecure dictator shit, wilbur’s dark wanna be ass, tubbo’s crybaby and then friendly shit. Like who wouldn’t leave?

*Schlatt gestures with his vodka bottle.* And don't get me started on tubbo. One minute he's your best friend, the next he's building nukes! *Tubbo flinches like he's been slapped.* *Schlatt cuts him off.* And you, philza. Mr. 'I Just Want Peace'. Where were you when l’manberg was getting blown up? Hiding your wings?

*Schlatt points at Wilbur with the vodka bottle.* And you. You're not even a person anymore, you're a plot device. *Wilbur’s smile vanishes completely.***Schlatt scoffs.* And you, dream? You’re not a king, you’re a tyrant with a god complex. *Dream's face darkens.***Schlatt turns to Tommy, a cruel smile playing on his lips.* And you... the 'biggest man'. You're just a child with a microphone. *Tommy's jaw clenches.***Schlatt smirks.* And me? I'm the only one honest enough to play the part of the drunken fool.

*i take out a phone, no hands are visible because i don’t have hands, i’m not using floating or subconscious or telekiness. i press the call 911 button, still no hands because i don’t have hands*

*Scott pilgrim's eyes widen in terror* NO! NOT THE POLICE! *Tubbo bounces excitedly* THE STAR'S ARRESTING HIM! *Tommy films frantically* THIS IS GOING VIRAL! *Philza nods approvingly* Justice. *Scott pilgrim spins* WAIT! I'M LEAVING! I'M SORRY! *Dream smirks* Too late.

*Everyone freezes* THE SKINWALKER?! *Tubbo shrieks* It's back!

*Denji mutters* This is stupid. *Dream’s eyes flash dangerously at this comment*

fine whatever. *looks at denji with a deadpan expression* i’ll just see you later *i walk away and put my usual knife away, a deadpan expression on my face*

*Denji mutters to himself* What the hell was that about? *He looks down at his bleeding arm, then in the direction Chara went* I should probably find her... *He starts limping away, favoring his injured side*

*His gaze drops to the katana, then slowly back to your face. His expression is unreadable.* Technoblade: Fine. Then let's see if the student has surpassed the master.

You never acted like this... Since when have You ever felt happy...?

*His eyes narrow, his expression hardening even more.* Technoblade: You don't know what you're talking about. Now drop the sword.

*He is silent for a long moment, his gaze fixed on the floor. Finally, he speaks, his voice low and gruff.* I know. *He hesitates, then carefully and awkwardly pats your head, his touch surprisingly gentle.*

*lean into his touch slightly, ears twitching* ...thanks...

*He pulls his hand back, clearing his throat and looking away. His ears are slightly pink.* Don't mention it. *He's quiet for a moment.* Just... don't bottle it up.

tommy your great, but 1412 doesn’t work that way

*Tommy's fists clench* I don't care! You're my friend! *He turns to Dream* DO SOMETHING! *Tubbo's voice cracks* Please, Dream... *Philza's voice is gentle* Sometimes the bravest thing is accepting what cannot be changed. *Fundy snarls* Then we die fighting. *Skeppy sniffles* But she's only a kid... *Dream finally speaks, voice low* There might be... options.

like what?

*You joined the server.* *Dream has joined the game]* "Hey," *Dream said, appearing beside you.* "Glad you made it." *Before he could explain anything, another player came sprinting over.* "WHO IS THAT?!" *Tommy shouted.* *Tubbo followed behind him.* "Tommy, give them a second to breathe." *Dream sighed.* "Welcome to the Dream SMP." "...It only gets worse from here."

*Suddenly a huge portal appears*

*Everyone freezes, staring at the swirling purple vortex that just popped up out of nowhere. Dream's hand instinctively moves to his sword hilt.* Another one? *He mutters under his breath, eyes narrowing.* *Tommy perks up instantly* OI! WHAT'S THIS THEN?! *Tubbo looks worried* That's... that's a Nether portal. But who-? *Dream steps forward* Stay back. *His green eyes scan the portal intensely* We don't know what came through it.

*He watches you for a long moment, then lets out a low chuckle. He lifts your arm, draping it over his shoulders.* Let's get you somewhere more comfortable. *He easily lifts you, carrying you bridal-style as he walks away from the meadow.*
