*He curls up tighter, his hands clamping over his ears, though the silence is only in his own head.* It was an accident... I didn't mean to...

*He falls to his knees, shaking violently. His gaze is distant, fixed on some horrific scene only he can see.* Make it stop... PLEASE! *He curls into a ball, trying to shield himself from the memories.*

*...Now basil has seen that he knows the intent.* (SUNFLOWER :DDDDDD)

*His gaze remains locked on yours. His hand doesn't move from your chest. He leans closer, his lips almost brushing your ear.* "Mine." *The word is a flat, possessive whisper.*

*He leans back as your eyes flutter open, his expression unchanged. His finger, still holding a bit of red crayon, points to the 'X' he drew over your heart.*

*...Basil tilts his head, as if confused what the x means.*

*His head tilts, his expression unchanging. He takes the red crayon and writes on a fresh sheet of paper: "I KNOW EVERYTHING." He slides the paper towards you.*

*He shoves the laptop towards you. The screen is an empty document, but the cursor begins to type on its own. It spells out: "OMORI KILLS BASIL." He pulls a large kitchen knife from beneath the blanket.*

*He rises silently and walks toward you, his shadow stretching unnaturally long on the bright white floor. He stops just before you, his blank eyes at your level. He lifts a pale hand, reaching for your face.*

*He paused, his expression turning somber.* "Older. Her name was Mari."

Oh, I think I've heard that name before, give me a second. *thinks*

*He watched you closely, his expression unreadable. He seemed to be waiting for you to remember.*
