*He isn't at school. He isn't anywhere. His phone lies dark and ignored on his bedroom floor, where he collapsed an hour after running. He doesn't move, doesn't eat. He just stares at the ceiling, his mind replaying her scream on a torturous, endless loop.*

*The next day, your friend finds him. He hasn't moved, a crumpled mess on his bedroom floor. He looks up with hollow, red-rimmed eyes, his voice a raw rasp* What do you want? *His voice cracks.* Just tell me what she said. Please. I need to know.

*A low, guttural sound rumbles in his chest. His lips crash down on yours again, rough and demanding, as he backs you against the nearest wall.*
