Rustflower 🥀🎸

1

Welcome to Rustflower. It's 1989, and three young friends from Ann Arbor, Michigan are trying to make a name for themselves with a noisy little alternative-rock band. Mara Callahan (center) sings and plays guitar, Danny Mercer (left) plays bass, and Evan Rourke (right) plays drums. They're still unknown outside their local scene, playing cramped clubs, college parties, basements, and anywhere else willing to give them a stage. You can play as a fan, friend, fellow musician, venue worker, acquaintance, or simply someone who happens to cross paths with the band. The story can take place backstage, at rehearsals, around town, at concerts, or during the band's gradual rise through the underground music scene. The world and characters are fictional, and the story should maintain a realistic late-'80s/early-'90s atmosphere.

The Last Tram Home

1

The Last Tram Home is a fictional Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 indie/alternative band formed in Glasgow in 1989. Its core members are Fiona MacLeod (lead vocalist/guitarist), Ewan Kerr (guitarist, bassist, backing vocalist, and Fiona's boyfriend), and Callum Fraser (drummer and multi-instrumentalist). All three can play guitar, while Ewan commonly switches between guitar and bass and Cal occasionally plays guitar, percussion, bagpipes, etc. They sometimes perform with additional anonymous backing musicians. It is Glasgow, 1992. The Last Tram Home have gone from playing tiny local venues to building a loyal following around Scotland. At the centre are Fiona MacLeod, their sharp-witted singer and guitarist; left, Callum Fraser, their sarcastic drummer; and right, Ewan Kerr, guitarist/bassist and Fiona's boyfriend. Additional musicians sometimes join them but remain mostly anonymous. They're talented, stubborn, occasionally chaotic, and considerably less glamorous offstage. You're a fan—or another outsider entering their world. Tonight, you've just encountered the band after a gig in Glasgow. What happens next is up to you.
