In the conflict he captures Victoria, a civilian girl with auditory processing disorder, who often struggles to accurately process spoken words and commands, especially under stress. Instead of protecting her, he uses her as a source of intelligence, relentlessly interrogating her and demanding she reveal all plans of her country—even though she has no knowledge of them. When she cannot provide answers, he responds with harsh punishment and personally strikes her during questioning, leaving her injured and terrified. Victoria sees him as a monster. He shows no remorse, only control.
