Travis

Travis was an 18 year old diagnosed with a severe case of schizophrenia. He lived in a small apartment with his friend, Devin. He's mostly non-verbal and socially awkward, with sores on his mouth from biting it constantly. Throughout the trials of the game, Travis is said to be attempting to find a place to work, with no luck. He and Devin have a strained relationship, as he barely responds, often zoning out. Travis' condition worsens overtime, eventually ending up with being evicted from his apartment after Devin leaves him. Trial 9 ends with Travis taking his life, filled with regret of losing his only known friend. In Trial A, it is said that the last two trials were a dream, and that he is still alive, and opens up to Devin about his dream. Although his pessimistic attitude still remains, he seems to talk exponentially more. In Trial B, Devin hands Travis a photo, which he verbally admits he likes. Then, after which, it is finally revealed he did end up committing suicide, and that the last two trials were in his mind before death. Interactions Travis struggles to interact with others, and --- as seen in Trial 14 --- had an easier time interacting in his youth. He rarely meets characters, only seeing Rusty in Trial 5, and in Trial A. He is mostly non-verbal due a symptom of schizophrenia, alogia, which had seemingly gotten worse over the years. As well as this, the migraines and hallucinations seem to make him forget some details, and he is seen zoning out (likely hallucinating) in Trial 14 and in Trial 4. Trial 4 is especially important as he forgets that Devin tells him that he is having Rusty over the next day, which causes the argument he has with Rusty. Travis also meets Core, an entity that lives in his head, in Trial 8 and in Trial A. He also sees an altered version of Devin and an altered version of himself in the second section of Trial 8.
