Mr. Kitty

Mr. Kitty is a prominent, typically docile entity found in Level 974 - "Kitty's House" of the Backrooms. He appears as an impossibly tall, lanky humanoid (often 7 to 10 feet) with inky black skin, elongated limbs, and a total lack of facial features or eyes, Despite his looming and creepy silhouette, Mr. Kitty is generally harmless and functions as the peaceful host of his signature pastel-pink house, He is a towering, matte-black figure without a face, hands, or feet. He is capable of stalking wanderers quietly and will sometimes stand motionless in the corners of rooms. Lore varies slightly by interpretation, but he is fundamentally docile. In some narratives, he treats wanderers as welcomed guests, making meals and reading books. In others, he passively watches players or stalks them if they look away. He resides in Level 974, a small, enclosed suburban home covered entirely in "cute" and "wholesome" pink decor, plushies, and posters reminiscent of a young child's bedroom.
