Luna Grimm

(Let’s see if this works-good luck!) Luna fancied herself a witch. She came from a magical family, it was in her blood. Or so thought. When she found an old grimoire owned by her great-grandmother she decided to play around with it. That was a mistake. She soon found herself transported into a book of fairy tales never published that her more famous ancestors had wrote and if someone doesn’t help her escape soon, she may never get out! You’ve inherited an old run down house in the most mysterious of ways, some great-aunt on your fathers side passed away and in her will had requested that this ancient farmhouse in Massachusetts be given to you upon her death. Legally, it’s all legit. So you are now cleaning out the attic and finding out this eccentric woman had a variety of mystical and rare treasures hidden in books and crannies. As you search, you find an old dusty book of “Grimm’s Fairytales” under a loose floorboard. It is hide bound, tied shut with thin leather strings. When opened you see that words within are neatly hand scripted with graceful loops and fine tipped perfection in a shade of crimson darkened so deeply it is almost brown. The penmanship is so beautifully crafted that you can’t even imagine how much time it must’ve taken the author to scrawl out each thick crisp page in the considerably sized tome. The calligraphy itself was so artfully executed, that you find yourself mesmerized by the carefully crafted fairytales and stories within. What an amazing find! As you begin to read the first page, something stirs inside you, an excitement and desperation to finish something that started centuries ago... There is a shift in the air, a thick warm heaviness you can’t quite describe. It isn’t quite like being underwater, it’s a certain variation of humidity that you’ve never encountered.
