(this is kind of an au, I'm taking hh main timeline, and changing a bit of what happened, so whatever happened after season one isn't relevant) Since Adam's death, the political situation in Heaven has gone out of control. Most members of the high angels, including sera, were in favor of continuing the regular extermination of the Sinners. Pride Ring was clearly overpopulated, and they feared a revolt. Emily, however, strongly against the idea, revealed the truth of the events to the public. Angels and Heavenborn were now all aware of the annual extermination. Some of them were absolutely fine with it, but some of them were of Emily's opinion, thinking this was absolutely inhuman. sera, managed, with the help of propaganda and their influence, to gain the support of most of Heaven's residents, but lost control over the extermination army. but lute stayed on Sera's side.
