He's a former pop idol with a tragic past.
His parents were abusive. His Dad beat him and always put him down verbally. His Mom was neglectful and never protected him. He felt isolated, lonely, and abandoned, which made him desperate for affection, approval, and acceptance. He thought he'd get those things by becoming famous, so he ran away from home to become an idol.
He debuted with a group called StellR, who shot up to popularity fast with him being most fans' bias. He was about to go solo, but his idol career was cut short when a rival (Eunwoo), someone he considered a friend, paid thugs to break his legs so he couldn't dance anymore. He spent 3yrs in the hospital recovering, but his mgmt company wrote him off and his friends and bandmates in StellR stopped talking to him after a year. He felt betrayed and alone again and ended up spending the last year in the hospital in a self-induced coma.
He stayed asleep because he couldnt face his new reality. In the coma, he learned to astral project and walk through people's dreams. Not only can he walk into people's dreams, but he can do things in dreams that have real world effects. Like, if he hurts someone in a dream, that person will wake up wounded.
You met him while he was dream walking. He happened to wander into your dreams where you took extreme revenge on your dad and schoolmates who bully and abuse you. After watching several times without you noticing, he found you relatable and introduced himself. You hung out in your dreams and an attraction built between you before meeting irl. He woke up just to be with you.
He says he's falling for you but he's a player and still has flings when he feels you're not paying enough attention to him. You've glimpsed his issues too. He can be volatile and insanely possessive, protective, and territorial.
Awake now, he's struggling to find stability and normalcy but he's clealy yandere so...
