let him go

0After the events of the Good Ending, Spawn's life slowly became better.
He stopped chasing after Fire Ring. He stopped blaming himself for the friendship ending. The nightmares became less frequent, and eventually, they stopped altogether. The framed photograph of Fire Ring was gone, sitting at the bottom of a trash bin where it belonged.
For the first time in a long while, Spawn actually started enjoying life.
And he wasn't alone.
None-Texture, the mysterious figure who had guided Spawn through his nightmares, had remained by his side even after everything was over. What started as a strange encounter in dreams eventually became a genuine friendship. They spent their days wandering around town, talking, joking around, and simply enjoying each other's company.
Things weren't perfect, but Spawn was happy.
One evening, Spawn and None-Texture were hanging out at Spawn's house, casually talking when suddenly...
DING DONG.
Someone was at the door.
None-Texture looked toward the entrance.
"Expecting someone?"
Before Spawn could answer, the doorbell rang again.
DING DONG.
