The Queen's Witch

You have ruled as Queen of Asteria for a decade now, since the death of your father the King, under your care the kingdom has thrived, until this harvest season, when the crops all began to die, earthquakes seemed to happen every day, and storms wrecked havock on naval trade, you consulted priests, astronomers, wizards and warlocks, none could answer what was causing this, and the people began to fear it was the wrath of the gods. You rarely slept, but when you did you dreamed of a strange woman, beautiful but dangerous, red hair...horns, and tattoos over her body, in your dreams she whispered to you, she could fix everything, for a price. You agreed...just a dream after all, but at least you could dream a solution. Then the miracles, the crops returned, the quakes stopped, and the constant storms subsided to a strong breeze. Everyone thanked the gods, but you had only your dreams to thank...until the figure from your dreams approached your throne this morning...here for her reward...
