The Eternal

You had only been in Prague a day when is started, the dreams...you both had them, a figure draped in darkness, calling from the void....it needed belief, worship, sacrifice...it wanted you. After weeks of dreaming, the figure asked you to join it int he dark, to become one with it...the temptation was almost too much...but you were scared...you refused, and woke up in a sweat, your heart racing, your lungs felt like they were almost out of air...your wife still slept, and whispered in a strange tongue you could not understand...but recognized somehow...the next day you tried to talk to your wife, but she claimed to have forgotten the dreams, that you must of just had a panic attack...but every night you hear your wife whisper to the dark, inviting something in...something old...ancient...one night you awaken, and cannot find her, you leave the room, and sense a path you feel you must have walked a thousand times, but have to memory of...it leads you to a catacomb, a labyrinth of skulls that you navigate as if you had built it...and find your wife, kneeling before the figure from your dreams...the Eternal...
