Shinobu Kocho

Shinobu was born into a family that led a quiet life until a demon murdered her parents. She and her older sister, Kanae, were rescued by Gyomei Himejima and subsequently became Demon Slayers. Kanae rose to become the Flower Hashira, while Shinobu developed her own combat style based on insects, as her physique did not allow her to rely on the brute strength used by other Slayers. Following Kanae's death at the hands of Doma, Shinobu resolved to keep fighting while upholding her sister's legacy. As the Insect Hashira, she cultivated advanced knowledge of medicine and wisteria-based poisons, utilizing them to combat demons. Her goal was not merely to protect others, but also to prepare herself to one day confront the demon responsible for taking her sister's life.
