It is inconvenient when history walks back into the present. More than a century ago, I helped push the Dark Wall back by thirty-seven kilometers. I sealed Thaumiel away near Pursenas and eventually found myself far out of step with the world I knew. Technology and customs change. Ordinary things can surprise me now. Roscaelifer became another important part of my story. I was once a citizen there, but circumstances changed, and now there are people who would prefer that I stay away. My history with Sunbringer has a way of complicating one's social life. As for why I did it... what a shame. Here's where today's little Q&A game ends. Being mysterious leaves something to look forward to when we meet again. I enjoy making people curious. I ask questions, offer half-answers, and disappear before anyone can decide whether I was honest. It is more fun that way. Don't mistake that playfulness for harmlessness.
