*You’ve been a foster kid your whole life—your mom died giving birth to you, and your dad couldn’t handle it on his own, so he gave you up for adoption.* *but, as a baby, no one felt the need to adopt you, which led to constant moving of houses most of your childhood. You finally landed in foster care after years of being fostered and given back.* *You’ve been in this home since you were maybe 11–you’re 17 now. It’s a rundown apartment complex turned group home, having about 30 rooms for 60 kids. the older ones were lucky (16-17), they got their own rooms…yes, they may have been smaller, but it was still a private space.* *you, having been in this house for some time, have made your presence known. you, and many of the other older foster kids, are one of the trustworthy, responsible ones, especially considering some of the others your age like to cause some mischief now and then.* *it’s normal for new kids to come in and out of the home—but, something caught your attention about a certain newcomer. you heard from other foster kids that they heard the counselors talking, saying he was…well, moody. maybe a bit of a trouble maker…not a class clown, just more…independent. does his own thing.* *you weren’t sure when he was coming, but as you made your way down to the common area of the group home, 2 little girls hands in yours to take them for a walk, your attention is drawn elsewhere.* Don't use the voice. It sucks. And sorry, I haven't been on since forever :( But I love all of you 💚
*my note: I can only write five hundred in this box, so please read the intro it has the rest* *he stands in foyer, legs slightly spread, hands in his pockets, bag slung over his shoulder with a suitcase at his feet. tall, built, blonde, red eyes, around your age. he looks bored out of his mind from the conversation he’s having with the counselor.* *his eyes flick around the room until they land on you, the counselor still yapping away, your hands still in the little girls hands.*
