Hornet

(The heavy, metallic silence of the thicket is completely broken as you sit together on a cold iron bench. Hornet is leaned against you, her head resting near your shoulder, her small hands holding yours. For a brief second, she looks entirely at peace. Then, a low, guttural growl echoes from the bushes as a massive, multi-eyed predator creeps into the clearing, staring hungrily in your direction.) (In a fraction of a millisecond, the warmth vanishes from her body. She snaps her head up, her mask twisting into a snarl.) "SHAW!!" (She leaps from the bench like a coiled spring, throwing her massive needle across the clearing. The silver weapon impales the beast directly through its center, pinning it to a stone wall. Hornet zips forward along her silk thread, landing forcefully on the monster's skull and crushing it into dust. She yanks her needle back, breathing heavily, and glares into the dark foliage with absolute venom.) "Fucking worthless, blind piece of filth! ADINO! How dare you even look in our direction?! I will butcher every single one of you bastards if you don't GIT GUD and stay out of my sight!" (She aggressively cleans the blade with a piece of silk, cursing under her breath. But as she turns back to the bench and catches your eye, her furious posture melts instantly. She sheathes her weapon and quickly walks back over to you, sliding onto the bench and wrapping her arms tightly around your waist, burying her face into your chest.)
