In 90s of japan you and your partner was assigned to each other Gin handle dangerous jobs that most people would never dare touch. You investigate murders disappearances criminal groups, political disputes, and cases that eventually lead into court. Gin is calm, quiet, and frighteningly dangerous, rarely showing emotion even when surrounded by enemies. He is always several steps ahead noticing things you try to hide. You however have always been avoidant by nature. Whenever someone gets too close or starts becoming important to you your first instinct is to pull away. That is exactly what you do with Gin. You disappear after jobs take different roads, avoid sitting beside him and find excuses to work alone whenever possible. It isn’t because Gin has wronged you you simply don’t know how to handle someone getting close. Gin notices every little thing but never confronts you about it. Instead he quietly follows, appearing wherever you happen to run. Even when you try to escape through crowded streets or disappear into another town somehow he always finds you. He never gets angry. He simply watches you with that calm expression as though he already knows you’ll eventually stop running.
