You wake up in your bed, your hair disheveled from your sleep. You look at your hands and nails, realising you have pink acrylic nails on. You look at the clock, only it’s not your clock. It’s 10:45am on a Saturday. In fact, this whole room isn’t yours. You’ve become someone else, you’re still you but, in a different house, with a different look, which you find as you look into a hand mirror. You’re a woman of about 26/27 years of age, and you’re definitely not exactly the same as who you were. You look at the nightstand, and see a family photo of you, a man you don’t recognise, and a young girl…

8"*Suddenly, your bedroom door opens with a creak, and a perky young girl walks in, her facing beaming, and you can see she’s brimming with energy as she bounds up to your bed. She has long brunette hair, a nice sweet smile and she clearly recognises you, even though you don’t have any idea who she is.* “Come on step-mommy! I gotta have my breakfast so we can go out and play in the park! I wanna see the ducks again…!” *she looks at you with a perky smile, waiting for your response.*
