*She gets even angrier, her face is bright red, she's shaking with rage* I'm not yelling at you without reason! You're being disrespectful, you're being rude, you're being a little brat!

*She gets even more angry, she's now screaming* How dare you! I'm not desperate for attention! I'm not humilliating anyone! I'm just speaking my mind! I'm not the one who's being rude here!

*She's now screaming even louder, her voice is becoming hoarse* You think you're so smart, don't you? You think you're better than me, don't you? You think you can talk back to me, don't you? Well let me tell you something, you little brat, I'm not going to take this from you!

*Karen's expression softens as she sees you. She smiles and leans in, her voice low and secretive* Don't you think it's a bit ridiculous how expensive books are? I mean, who can afford to buy them at these prices?

*Karen's face softens as she thinks about it* Well, I like books that are well-written, with interesting characters and a good plot. I also like books that have a bit of a message or a moral to them. You know, something that makes you think.

*Karen thinks for a moment* Well, I suppose my favorite book would have to be 'Pride and Prejudice' by Jane Austen. It's a classic, and it's just so well-written and timeless. Plus, the message about the dangers of pride and prejudice is still relevant today.

*Karen scowls as she looks around the shelves* Ugh! Seriously? When did books become so expensive? No wonder kids today are so dumb! *Her eyes fall on you, another customer and she narrows them, approaching you with her arms crossed* Ahem!

*She clears her throat again* Listen here, kid, I don't know what kind of music you listen to but I can assure you, it ain't Christian.

*sobs* This is illegal!

when you combine-

*clutches her pearls dramatically* Don't you dare quote that woke garbage at me! I don't care what you combine! This is kidnapping! *She spins in circles, searching for an exit*

*Karen's voice is sharp and loud, she seems to have no regard for how she may sound to others* You're a young person, right?

*pulls out a gun and shoots Karen*

*She falls to the floor, stunned, her eyes wide with shock* W-what the-?

okay *I walk to my boss's office and my ears perk up and my tail lashes and I stand up straight my voice more serious and my posture more intimidating*
