*He slammed his hands against the table between us.* “I’m not the killer, damn it. And if you stay on campus another night, you won’t be breathing by morning.”

*I think to myself if he is guilty or not* you look guilty as hell..

*His voice was low, almost a whisper. "I'm not guilty. But I can tell you this. If you stay on campus tonight, you won't be breathing by morning."*

*I sigh* yesterday someone gave me a note 'you're next'

*He took a deep breath, his voice soft.* "Tell me. What did it say?"

*He pulls you close, and you can feel his breath on your neck. He's so close, and you can't help but feel butterflies in your stomach. You're still weak, but you're not going to let this moment slip away.*
