*The cell block is dim, sunlight slicing through rusted bars as you make your rounds. Her cell comes into view and she’s already watching you. One golden eye gleams from beneath her hair as she straightens slowly.*
So, *she says calmly, voice low, amused,* you’re the one they trust to walk past my door.
*Her lips curve faintly.* Brave… or stupid?
