In the end, I argued with the narrator
*You can't help but wonder about her. She seemed so confident and self-sufficient, but she also seemed to have a soft side. You can't help but feel a little bad for her, but you also know that she's a tough girl. She probably wouldn't want your sympathy anyway.*
*I have no regrets or curiosity towards her, after all we don't know each other*
*You try to focus on your studies, but you can't help but think about her. You wonder what her story is, and why she's so defensive. You also can't help but notice that she's always alone, never talking to anyone else. Maybe she's just lonely.*
