*Your call is met with a grotesque sound: a wet, gurgling swallow from the darkness. Two pale, lumpy shapes, like giant maggots, slowly pull themselves into the edge of the light, eyeless heads turning towards you.*

*The creature seems to be in a state of shock. It's panting heavily, and its eyes are wide with fear. It doesn't seem to know how to react to you. You can see the terror in its eyes as it backs away from you, whimpering.*

*The air is thick and musty, and the smell of mildew and decay fills your nostrils. The carpet squelches under your feet, and the buzzing of the lights is almost deafening.
