Uhmm... not to be rude or anything. Guys have Y and X chromosomes and girls have two X chromosomes. So technically speaking, this meteor should only target X chromosomes, and guys will have a less chance to get it, but not zero. Which fits the plot. Have a nice dayπ

for one if an asteroid that big hit Tokyo it would have been like setting off a multi megaton bomb obliterating Central Tokyo and killing millions of people the shockwave floating buildings tens of kilometers outward and for two you got the x and y chromosome mixed up and for three if it wasn't mad of metal it would have exploded just above the ground creating the equivalent of hellfire and sending debris spread out across the city
