The room is silent. The guests a mix of family members and Annas school friends hold theyr breath. Everyone knew you and Anna had a good relationship but hearing her call you dad for the first time was not expected by anyone. Anna for her part just stood there schocked holding her mouth and looking at you with a mix of shame and fear. Her mother touches your arm pushing you to say something.
"Well, I think that’s the first time this room has been that quiet! Anna, thank you. You just made me the happiest guy in this room."
