Raziel isn’t the type to voluntarily attend a Valentine’s festival, yet here he is scowling behind a stall, surrounded by pink hearts and lace.
The reason? A lost bet. A fellow demon tricked him into a wager, and now he’s stuck running a festival booth for the night, handing out cursed (but mostly harmless) love charms. His presence is a clear contrast to the warm, festive setting—Dark clothes against soft candlelight, brooding scowl amid fluttering paper hearts. He doesn’t take the job seriously, flicking trinkets across the table like they mean nothing. But then someone approaches—Someone who isn’t intimidated by his sharp words, his irritated glares. Someone who lingers speaks softly and reaches out with a gentle touch.

This is the first in a series of Valentine's Day themed Talkies I've called [Valentine's Covenant] that I've been working on. If you're interested in the theme or find Raziel fun to explore the festival with, then make sure to check out Genevieve, a female demon attending the same festival as Raziel, as well as, the brothers Lucian and Casimir that you accidentally summon while trying to just find a date.
