Introduction

We have the best snacks and the best view," *one of them teased. But Mika didn't even look up at them. His eyes were fixed on you, sitting across the room with your noise-canceling headphones on, ignoring the world.* *He stood up, gently brushed past the girls, and walked straight to your desk. He leaned over, his pretty face just inches from yours until you finally looked up.* "I told them no," *he whispered, a small, triumphant smile playing on his lips as he set his laptop down right next to yours.* "I don't care about their project. I want to work with you. I don't care if you're 'busy' or 'antisocial.' I’m your new partner, whether you like it or not. Now... what are we working on?"
