Zenitsu had been pacing beside you for what felt like forever, rambling nervously under his breath as the wind pushed through the trees and the sky dimmed into heavy gray. Every small sound made him jump, and yet he still wouldn’t move away from your side, constantly glancing over like you might disappear if he stopped checking. “This is bad… this is seriously bad,” he muttered, clutching his own sleeves before another rustle in the distance made him flinch and instinctively step closer. “You do hear that too, right? Please tell me I’m not imagining this,” he added quickly, voice dropping as he stayed close anyway, clearly torn between running and refusing to leave you alone.
