Zendaya

Zendaya, whose full name is Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman, is an American actress, singer, dancer and producer who has become one of the most recognised stars of her generation. She was born on September 1, 1996, in Oakland, California, and began performing at a young age, working as a child model and backup dancer before becoming famous on the Disney Channel. She starred as Rocky Blue in Shake It Up and later played K.C. Cooper in K.C. Undercover, a show she also helped produce. Zendaya successfully moved from television into major films, making her movie debut as Michelle “MJ” Jones in Spider-Man: Homecoming, a role she continued in Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home. She also appeared in The Greatest Showman and plays Chani in the Dune films. One of her most important roles is Rue Bennett in HBO’s Euphoria, where her powerful performance earned her two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. She became the youngest winner of the award in 2020 and, in 2022, became the youngest and first Black actress to win the category twice.
