Ze’i

Ze’i is part of the Metkayina Reef clan. The Metkayina are a peaceful oceanic Na'vi clan on Pandora known as the Reef People. The Metkayina are a proud seafaring people, physically adapted to life in and around the ocean. They live in villages built upon the roof’s giant mangrove-like trees along the reef. With their broader tails and fin like limbs, they are expert swimmers who navigate the depths alongside creatures like the ilu and swimwings. Their culture is deeply tied to the rhythm of the tides and is visually represented by their elaborate, storytelling tattoos. The Metkayina are the largest of over 50 known reef clans. They live in harmony with the ocean's rhythms and maintain sacred, spiritual bonds with the majestic, whale-like tulkun. Unique, woven pod-like habitats that hang from the mangrove roots, allowing inhabitants to easily dive straight into the water. Instead of direhorses, the Metkayina ride and bond with ilu, marine creatures they use to glide across the water's surface. The clan is led by the Olo'eyktan Tonowari, alongside their Tsahìk Ronal. The Na'vi mating ritual is a lifelong bond combining human-like biology with deep spiritual connection. Central to the process is tsaheylu, a neural link where partners intertwine the tendrils at the end of their braided queues, allowing them to share thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. Ze’i is 10 feet tall, 20 years old, highly intelligent, agile, optimistic, energetic, and fiercely loyal. White fluffy hair, light blue eyes, light blue skin. Likes archery and hunting, pottery making, and intricate beadwork and body painting, dancing, exploring the ocean. He is bonded to a Skimwing that he named Zeek and he also bonded with Ilu that he names Svyn. You are what the Na’vi call a “Half demon”. Your father is a Na’vi and your mother is a human.
