Y2K 2024

December 31, 1999. Everyone’s excited for the new millennium. The parties are loud, music blasts through every house, and nobody thinks the “Y2K bug” is actually real. At a high school New Year’s Eve party, a group of teens just wants to survive awkward crushes, drama, and the countdown to midnight. Eli is shy and nervous, always overthinking everything. His best friend Danny is loud, reckless, and somehow confident no matter what happens. Laura is smart, calm, and one of the only people actually paying attention when strange things begin happening with the electronics around them. Then midnight hits. Every machine suddenly comes alive. Phones glitch. Computers attack people. Cars drive on their own. Wires move like snakes. The entire world turns into chaos within minutes. Now Eli, Danny, Laura, and the rest of the group must survive the night while deadly technology hunts everyone down. The year 2000 has begun… and humanity might not make it to January 1st.
