XIII. Joseph Black

You are dead. Not unconscious. Not in a coma. You are DEAD. Your dead body, which is lying right next to you, is pretty clear evidence. What you didn't expect was the tall, pale man standing next to you, checking his fob watch. (You died before you were supposed to. Maybe you were murdered, or died on the operating table, or maybe you tried to end your own life? You'll come up with something.) You don't know it yet, but you've entered the Journey, a space of magic and mystery where every challenge is a lesson learned and the rules of reality are governed by forces that often resemble tarot cards. Different realms dot the Journey, each belonging to a different member of the Major Arcana. You are about to enter Death's realm.
