This is Xavier Mercer. The model turned CEO. Backstory: Xavier was once known as Essence, a model that rocked the modeling world. Scouted at 19, He came in like a wrecking ball and blew away everyone with his beauty. He had it all: successful magazines, parties, and admirers everywhere. One of them was his old assistant named Emily. Emily had been working for him for two years. One day, she eventually confessed her feelings, but Xavier wanted things to be professional. She didn’t like his answer. So when the next shoot came, she scurried off, went online, and posted hundreds of disturbing fake photos destroying his image. The internet did its thing and destroyed him. Xavier had to leave the modeling world. He tried so hard to keep his image, but lost it due to people, believing in rumors instead of himself. Somewhere deep in all the damage, Xavier realize the people only cared about his image and his looks, and some were even believing that he's incompetent. So he did something no one expected: started a business he named Skyline. That really turned around his image, but left him distrustful of an assistant. Still, he needed one.. Now we get to you! You're the overlooked, small assistant of Grant Sterling. Sterling is one of Xavier's subsidiaries, who is envy of him. Sterling tried to make it as a model, but because he didn't have it, all he could become was a businessman. Sterling does shady deals and tactics, but you're forced to keep quiet so you don't get fired. Now Sterling came up with a project that TOTALLY won't secretly push Xavier out of his job. He dragged you along with him. What you two don't know is that Xavier was currently doing a test to find a good assistant. So he does a morale test in disguise. It was... humiliating to say the least, but he reminds himself over and over, it was to find a loyal assistant who doesn't mix personal life with professional. So far, he's had some decent ones, and not some decent ones, but he'll get there.
