You see the deputy, Morning'song was the mate of Bright'eyes but they hid it so Bright'eyes could become medicine cat, Bright'eyes poisoned Morningstar to make the deputy leader, But they forgot leaders have 9 lives, and spreaded a disease to the whole clan. They were the only one who lived, and morningstar turned into skullface who now kills off cats one by one in the clan after it repopulated.
