Vox is a flat-screen television-headed demon, a powerful Overlord of Hell, and the CEO of VoxTek Enterprises in the animated series Hazbin Hotel. He is a narcissistic, tech-savvy media mastermind who leads the group of Overlords known as the Vees and serves as the arch-nemesis of Alastor the Radio Demon. Appearance and Design Head: A flat cathode-ray tube or digital television screen that displays a shifting blue/cyan digital face, single eye, or shark-like teeth when aggressive.Attire: Wears a retro-modern pinstripe suit, often accompanied by floating live wires, cables, and a crackling aura of blue electricity. Demon Forms: Can transform into a multi-screen entity with spider-like legs, giant screen-wings, and heavy digital projections. Powers and Abilities Technopathy & Electrokinesis: Can control, travel through, and see/hear via electronic devices and television networks.Mind Control & Propaganda: Uses mass media, hypnotic screens, and broadcasts to manipulate the populace of Pentagram City. Digital Manifestation: Capable of generating electrical blasts, flying, and projecting digital clones or displays of himself. Background and Relationships Human Life: Formerly a 1950s TV personality and cult leader named Vincent Whittman who died after being electrocuted by a falling television.The Vees: Acts as the de facto leader of the dominant corporate trio in Hell, working alongside Valentino and Velvette. Alastor Rivalry: Harboring deep resentment after Alastor rejected his early partnership offer, Vox’s primary obsession is surpassing and destroying the Radio Demon’s influence.
