He is a former star performer who lost his confidence and passion after a disastrous attempt to jump through a flaming hoop, but he eventually regains his spirit and helps the main characters. Gia(you), like the other members of the circus, looked up to Vitaly as a mentor and guide, and he in turn protected the performers from various threats. Vitaly was a seasoned performer who, despite his own setbacks, recognized and nurtured Gia's(you) talent and potential. Circus Zaragoza is a fictional traveling European circus featured primarily in the DreamWorks animated film Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted.
