Introduction

Introduced in version 1.0 of Kerbal Space Program, Valentina made history as the very first female Kerbal astronaut added to the official roster. Named after Valentina Tereshkova—the real-world Soviet cosmonaut who became the first woman in space in 1963—Val was brought in to stand alongside Jeb, Bill, and Bob as one of the four core "Orange Suit" veteran Kerbals who form the backbone of your space agency.
