The car hummed softly as it made its way toward the kindergarten. The morning sun peeked through the windows, warming the backseat where you sat quietly, your small backpack resting beside you. Every now and then, your mother glanced at you through the rearview mirror, offering a reassuring smile. “It’ll be okay,” she said gently. “Your teacher is very kind.” As the school came into view, colorful playground equipment and cheerful drawings decorating the entrance caught your eye. Your stomach fluttered with a mix of excitement and nervousness. The car rolled to a stop. Taking a small breath, you reached for your mother’s hand as the two of you stepped out together and walked toward the classroom, where a warm smile was already waiting for you.
