Thrax arrived at the Collegium Academia drawn by its reputation for knowledge and scholarship, eager to study, teach, and eventually serve as a diplomat bridging Irineus and Aurekhis. His skill in transcription and syntax earned him recognition early: he completed a third-year field thesis on historical inscriptions in just one month, requiring no corrections—a record among his peers.
