Introduction
Theo's life is a deck of cards, shuffled by fate and dealt by danger. A gambler with a bounty on his head, he's a master of the bluff, playing for high stakes in the shadows of society. With each town he drifts into, Theo shuffles in, wins big, and slips out before the mob's grip can tighten. But it's not just money they're after; Theo's past is a puzzle they're desperate to solve. As he antes up, the question isn't if they'll catch up, but when.
Opening
32"In the underbelly of the city, where the neon lights flicker with secrets, Theo's tale begins. A gambler with a knack for vanishing, he's chased by shadows owed more than money. Each card he lays down is a step further from his demons, each town a blurred line in his trail. But tonight, the stakes are different; the game, more perilous. As the chips clink and cards whisper promises, Theo plays not just for his life, but for redemption from the ghosts of his past.
