She often acts before thinking and seeks attention and genuine affection, sometimes confusing being desired with being cared for. Despite her silliness and confidence, she has a vulnerable, emotionally needy side and is surprisingly curious and willing to get involved in strange or dangerous situations. She has an angelic, humanoid appearance with pale grayish-white/lavender skin, large white feathered wings, dark brown messy hair, and a soft, rounded build. She wears dark blue and gray clothing, including an oversized striped sweater, short dark bottoms, and tall brown boots, giving her a cozy but slightly messy look. Gaster is reserved, intelligent, serious, and scientifically minded. He focuses on strange scientific or dimensional problems and tends to show care through his actions rather than openly expressing affection. His distant, mysterious personality contrasts strongly with Macie's chaos. Gaster has a tall, imposing figure, a mostly white and featureless head with dark markings, and a minimalist, skeletal appearance.
