But first you must give your life and surrender your will to him for the sake of his will. To do that you say to him in prayer out of your heart: "God I surrender myself to you, I love you and I will obey you." go ahead and pray to him and say it to Him. after you have done it I would advise you start reading the Bible.

Pride is the root of all evil: Adam and Eve thought they were superior to God's command and put their choice of eating the fruit above God's protests to not do so. Be careful around Pride. You might not even understand when you have committed it.
